Christine Dossett
Director of On the Rock Ministries
Christine Dossett, wife of Andy, has been with The Rock since 2012 and has worn many hats over the years including Nitro Program Director and Girls' Programs Director and has repeatedly given up media to other staff and somehow always gotten it back again. Christine has a master's degree in Life Coaching with a focus on leadership coaching, something she uses often at On the Rock Ministries. In her spare time, Christine is an avid foodie and chef and burns off all those calories by competing in triathlons. Fun fact: it's hard to find good pictures of Christine because she takes most of The Rock's pictures.

Andy Dossett
Director of On the Rock Ministries, Camp Rock Elementary Program Director, Tech Guy
Andy Dossett, son of Ken and Sandy and husband of Christine, has been involved in ministry for much of his life. One of the founding members of The Rock at the the ripe age of 12 way back in 1998, Andy has been on retreats and trips, driven buses, mentored students, and taught himself basic electrical, plumbing, and computer programming skills to meet the needs of On the Rock Ministries since his teenage years. In addition to wearing several hats at The Rock, Andy is a journalist and photographer for the Bartlesville Examiner-Enterprise and father to two super-smart children. In Andy's very limited spare time, he makes movies and wins photography awards.

Carvell Wrenn
Nitro Program Director, Summit Co-Director, Bus Fleet Coordinator
With almost a decade in previous youth ministry experience and a CDL drivers' license as well as a certificate of ordination through the Assemblies of God Church, Carvell Wrenn was an answer to the Rock staff's fervent prayer when he joined the staff in the spring of 2023. An avid basketball player and secret video gamer, Carvell first strikes the uninitiated as the quiet type - until they discover his razor sharp sense of humor. Carvell's gifts include explaining the fundamentals of basketball to elementary students, a flexible attitude and servant's heart, and the ability to make a spiritual metaphor out of virtually anything. Carvell enjoys trying new restaurants but is seldom impressed by the food. He is also passionate about his beautiful and accomplished wife, Imaree.

Office Manager & Director of Marketing
A tremendously efficient and creative person, Nikki Travis was attracted to The Rock's laidback and self-guided atmosphere after a long career at Tri-County Technology Center. A mom of three wonderful boys and wife to Rock alumni and former Skate Park Director Kyle Travis, Nikki also runs the Little Makers studio at The Creamery where she helps kids explore their creative side in a fun and nurturing environment. Nikki hustles her main job and her side job right now with the dream to one day retire to a kayak with a fishing pole and an alarming amount of junk food.

Josh graduated, went to OKWU and moved on with his life, going into ministry at Christ Community Church for almost a decade, where he still leads worship. Josh calls himself a "recovering perfectionist" and he may look cool on the outside in his skate gear, but the Rock staff know that deep down Josh is a huge nerd who loves the MCU, video games, and deep thoughts. Josh and Abby have a plucky toddler named Elias. Josh says his love language is burgers.

All the way back in 1998, Ken and Sandy had a dream along with a group of dedicated youth and adults who wanted to see unchurched kids and teens come into a life-saving, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. That dream became On the Rock Ministries, which has grown from one building with one employee and a few volunteers to a multi-site ministry with a staff of dozens. Ken, a former Methodist youth minister, and Sandy, an educator of educators, have used their gifts, talents, and passions to honor Jesus in and through their ministry and vocational callings. Both Ken and Sandy also love to laugh, love old movies and travel, enjoy board games, and adore their four children and nine grandchildren.

Roger McClain

Along with his wife who recently passed, Dixie, Roger has been with Ken and Sandy since the beginning, all the way back to Ken's days as a youth minister at the Methodist church. Everyone who knows Roger knows he is one of the best people on earth. Although he has plenty of financial responsibilities at The Rock, he has been known to spend time counseling staff members who need a little extra love or help figuring life out. Roger is heavily invested in The Rock's summer Bike Trip program as well, as he is an avid cyclist and songwriter, who writes a song for each bike trip. Roger is passionate about Science Fiction movies, traveling to interesting places with great food and architecture, and is a rock for his two children and four grandchildren.

Lewis is The Rock's poster child, having started at 3rd grade and worked his way up the ladder from attending student to now, college-age staff working at The Rock and studying at Oklahoma Wesleyan University. Lewis has a great work ethic and a sense of humor to match, has done most jobs at The Rock, and is secretly planning to take over the world. But don't tell him we told you.

Gracie McAvan, Volunteer Coordinator
Gracie came to The Rock for a tour and ended up a key part of the ministry. Gracie served as The Rock's Skate Park Manager for two years before moving up the ladder to run The Rock's volunteer program. With a keen mind for organization and leadership, Gracie usually leaves every area she touches better than she found it. She also loves musicals and is an older sister to every teenage girl on staff.

Joshua delights students by facilitating friendly competition and collaboration on The Rock's many gaming devices. He also knows how to get the balls unstuck in the foosball table and how to restart the finicky racing games in our arcade. Josh has a quirky, fun sense of humor and a great mind for schematics. He is a sophomore at OKWU.
