What is The Rock?

The Rock is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization with a 6,600-square-foot recreation center that houses a skate park, coffeehouse, concert center, recreation area, computer lab, and outdoor patio. The Rock offers young people, third grade to college age, recreational activities and character building lessons through:

What is The Rock's Vision ?

To sponsor and promote educational, charitable, cultural events for disadvantaged children and youth, which will introduce young people to a life-changing, life-saving relationship with Jesus Christ.

To provide young people with a place where they feel they Belong.
To love young people unconditionally with the hope they will come to Believe that they are uniquely created with a purpose.
To provide positive role models and mentors with the hope that those who participate at The Rock will Become all they were created to be.

Quick Facts

Weekly Attendance: 450-500 youth when all after-school programs are in session
Leaders in Training: 40 high school, college age, and adult leaders
Individual Youth: We served over 1500 youth in 2011, 3rd-12th grade
